Rennie Sue Smith

Rennie Sue Poulson Smith, 87, wife of the late Billy Floyd Smith and a resident of Jamesville, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox. A native of Exmore, VA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Richard Poulson and the late Myrtle Wallace Poulson. Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she served many years as church organist and Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a son, Wayne Lee Smith and his wife, Joan, of Jamesville, a granddaughter, Cristin Zach and her husband, Benny, of Exmore, three great-grandchildren, Hannah Leigh Parks, Ashley Parks and Austin Parks. She was predeceased by a sister, Anna P. Payne, a brother, Herman T. Poulson, and several nieces. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with the Reverend Paul Oh officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
