Richard Conrad

Richard E. Conrad 88, passed away peacefully on Monday July 20,2026 at the Commonwealth Senior Living Community in Onancock Virginia. He was a retired Aerospace Engineer.

Born in Altoona Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Russell and Florence Conrad. Richard and his late wife Ann, moved to Eastville, Virginia for their retirement years. Richard was a devoted member of St. Charles Church, where his faith remained an important part of his life.

Richard is survived by his sister Claire Furber, children Matthew Conrad (Barbara), Mark Conrad (Samantha), Susan Garian (Geoff), Patricia Leheny (Terry), Gary Conrad (Jane). His grandchildren Zachary Conrad (Chen-Chen), Rachel Bracken (Conor), Kyle Conrad (Bianca), Andrea Bungard (Matt), Kristen Conrad, Christopher Garian, Kimberly Garian, Megan Conrad, Stephen Conrad, Douglas Conrad and great-grandchildren Everette and Wesley Bracken.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 31st, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at St. Charles Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in St Charles Borromeo Memorial Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, Richard requests memorials be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Avenue, Cape Charles, VA 23310.
