Robert Stephen Morrill, Jr.

June 23, 1959 — September 18, 2016

Robert Stephen Morrill, Jr. passed away surrounded by his loving family September 18, 2016 after a heroic battle with cancer that spanned 13 years. He was born in Spokane, WA. He was the son of the late Ret. Maj. Robert Morrill USAF and Yvonne Morrill.

A beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and husband, Bobby was kind hearted, fun loving and a hard working soul. He loved spending time with his family and his animal friends. No matter how he was feeling at the end he fed his squirrels as soon as he had seen they had eaten all of their corn, rain or shine.

The son of a fighter pilot he lived all around the country, but spent time predominately in St. Petersburg, FL and Portland, ME.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Yvonne Morrill; sisters, Paula Morrill and Jeanette Fritz; sons, Jason and Kyle; step children, Joey and Rachel; numerous grandchildren that he adored; niece, Rachael Leonard; nephew, Robert Fritz; the love of his life, Diane Urtnowski; and many uncles, aunts and cousins in the Portland area.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bobby's memory may be made to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P. O. Box 17, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
