Robert William Shanley

Robert William Shanley, 76, a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020, at his residence. A native of Norwich, CT, he was the son of the late Benjamin B. Shanley and the late Beatrice E. Eggleton Shanley. He was a retired waterman.

He is survived by his son, Robert H. B. Shanley and his wife, Pamela, of Cape Charles; four stepdaughters, Sharon Lewis, Lisa Lewis, Joanne Powell, and Christy Iversen, all of Cape Charles; a grandson, Robert W. Shanley II of Cape Charles; step grandchildren, Audrey Fickel, Samantha Lewis, Alexandrea Lewis, Christopher Powell, Chandler Sharp, Hunter Pruitt, Jacob Brown and Julian Gorman; step great-grandchildren, Mahesh Sharp, Mehki Sharp, Ruth Powell, Jessie Lynn Fickel and Bryton Fickel.

To honor his wishes no public service will be held.
