Scott Heneghan

Scott Heneghan, 62, a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his residence. A native of Shelton, CT, he was the son of Jo Ann Griffith Heneghan of Cheriton, and the late Henry Joseph Heneghan, Jr. He was a Tax Preparer for Jackson Hewitt in Cheriton for over 30 years; a member of American Legion Post #56, where he helped with their annual golf tournament; and he loved sports and cooking.

In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by a sister, Brenda H. Anderson and her husband, Frank, of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Mark Heneghan of Cheriton; two aunts, Dorothy Stoeppel of Straford, CT, and Eddie Holmes of Malvern, OH; and nephew, Griffith Anderson of Bridgewater, VA.

To honor his wishes a private family service will be held at a later date. Scott loved his family and friends very much, so please raise a glass to toast his memory.
