Scott Krout

Sterling Scott Krout, 59, husband of Elizabeth Ann Borkman Krout and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of White Marsh, MD, he was the son of Evelyn Mae Naylor Krout of Painter and the late Levern “Bud” Sterling Krout.  Scott was a truck driver for Perdue Farms.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Shepard and her husband, James, and Stefanie Krout and her fiancé, Gray Morgan, all of Harford County, MD; a brother, Kevin Krout and his wife, Terese, of New Jersey; and six grandchildren, Kylie, Malakai, Haydn, Ethan, Gabriella, and Juliann.  Scott was predeceased by a brother Samuel Krout.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher’s Truckers Relief Fund, P.O Box 30763, Knoxville, TN 37930 or at truckersfund.org.
