Shawn Michael Simpson, 26, a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Birdsnest, VA. A native of Painter, he was the son of Marvin Simpson and Rita Justis Simpson of Painter. He was a drywall installer and finisher and member of CCSC II.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his sister, Stephanie Simpson and her fiancé, Cody Sluder, of Hendersonville, NC; maternal grandmother, Patsy Morris of Red Bank, VA; paternal grandfather, Donald Simpson of Exmore, VA; two uncles, Earl T. Simpson and Elvis T. Justis, both of Exmore; aunt, Wendy Harris of Accomac, VA; and numerous club brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Woody Justis and paternal grandmother, Irene Padilla.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Rob Kelly officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to SPCA Eastern Shore, Inc., P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
