Shirley Faye Simpson

Shirley Faye Simpson, 79, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Quinby, VA, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey Simpson and the late Beulah Spence Simpson. She was a retired unit secretary for Shore Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Deneen Clayton and Denise Clayton, both of Exmore; two brothers, Donald Simpson of Exmore, and Dennis Simpson of Quinby, VA; three grandchildren, Zachary Bowen of Exmore, Megan Clayton of Massachusetts, and Craig DeCarlo of Exmore; three great grandchildren, Katelyn Reynolds, Bobby Reynolds, and Samuel DeCarlo; and her fuzzy baby, Sissy. She was predeceased by her brother, Earl Simpson. Not only for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Shirley also had a devoted love for her cats, the late Fred, Buttons, and Prissy.

To honor her wishes, no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P. O. Box 430, Onancock, VA 23417.
