Stanley Marius Mlodynia Obituary 2017

Stanley Marius Mlodynia, 86, husband of Irene Markiewicz Mlodynia and a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of St. Ettienne, France, he was the son of the late John Mlodynia and the late Wladislawa Tutak Mlodynia. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Korea, retired New York State Police Trooper and member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four sons, John Ignac Mlodynia and his wife, Joyce, of Long Island, NY, Edward Stanley Mlodynia and his wife, Cynthia, of Long Island, James Joseph Mlodynia and his wife, Viola, of Newburgh, NY, Thomas Henry Mlodynia and his wife, Joan, of Long Island; two brothers, Henry Mlodynia of Richfield Springs, NY, Michel Mlodynia and his wife, Eve, of Machipongo; seven grandchildren, John, April, Eric, Andrew, Adam, Scott, Melissa; and five great grandchildren, Hailey, Lindsay, Anthony, Avery and Haley.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Interment will follow in Cape Charles Cemetery with Military Honors. Family will join friends at the church Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM with a Christian Wake Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Ave., Cape Charles, Virginia 23310.
