Stephen Parks Wallace

Stephen Parks Wallace, 60, husband of Sheryl Matthews Wallace and a resident of Elizabeth City, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his residence. Born July 30, 1957, in Nassawadox, VA, he was the son of the late Jerry Wallace and Patricia Parks Chick and Donald Ray Chick of Camden, NC. He grew up loving the out of doors, especially hunting and fishing. Stephen was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed woodworking and could fix almost anything. He was a dedicated and loving family man.

In addition to his parents and loving wife of thirty-nine years, he is survived by, two daughters, Nichole Wallace of Camden, and Amber Luff (Joseph) of Jacksonville, NC; a sister, Bonnie Winslow (T.P.); six grandchildren; three nieces; and five nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edith and Frank Parks and paternal grandparents, Thelma Chapman and Harry Wallace.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Sawyers Creek Baptist Church in Camden, with Pastor Kevin Buzzard officiating. A graveside service will be Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery in Belle Haven, VA. Memorial donations may be made to Sawyers Creek Baptist Church, 241 Sawyers Creek Road, Camden, NC 27921.
