Susan Catherine Griffin, 64, wife of Bill Scalley and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019, at her residence. Born December 28, 1954, in Houston, TX, she was the daughter of the late George Melvin Griffin and the late Elizabeth Ann Propst Griffin. Her interests include cats of the Eastern Shore, gardening, and family history and genealogy.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by two children, Suzanna Claire Slaughter and Andrew Charles Slaughter, both of Florida; and a sister, Patti Meng of Florida. She was predeceased by a son, Marlowe Michael Slaughter.
A graveside service will be held for her and her son, Marlowe, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Cape Charles Cemetery with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating.
