Susan M. Smith went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31,2024.
She was born September 4,1945, in Beaumont,Texas. The daughter of William Albert Meekins and Lydia (Patureau) Meekins.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Smith; a son, Carl Thompson; two daughters, Deborah Brady husband (Frankie) and Susan Talbott. One brother, Roger Meekins wife (Sherrill); and nephew, Bruce Meekins wife (Nicole); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William Thompson. A private service was held on Saturday Febuary 3, 2024. Interment was private in Capeville Masonic Cemetery.
