Thelma Gray Cropper

Thelma Gray Cropper, 78, wife of Lew Carroll Cropper and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at her residence. A native of Deep Creek, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roland H. Gray and the late Ola Evans Gray. She was retired from The Right Touch Florist and a member of Exmore Baptist Church.

In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, she is survived by three children, Ann Lou Cropper Boehm and her husband, Mark, of Temperance, MI, Kimberly Cropper Wells and her husband, Ray, of Cape Charles, VA, Douglas Carroll Cropper of Nassawadox; six grandchildren, Scott Pusey, Eric Boehm, Raymond Wells, Jr., Jacob Wells, Samantha Huffman, Christian Cropper; six great grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Intrepid Hospice Care, Post Office Box 770, Onley, VA 23418.
