Thomas F. Simms

Thomas Francis Simms, 73, husband of the late Emily Bedsworth Simms and a resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away Friday, April 21, 2006 at Williamsburg Community Hospital. A native of Hopewell, Virginia, he was son of the late Elbert Simms and the late Anna Buyalos Simms. Mr. Simms was a retired pharmacist. Survivors include, a daughter, Anna Marie Witmer and her husband David of Charlottesville, Va, a son, Thomas Anthony Simms of Hampton, Va., a brother, Albert Simms of Raleigh, N.C. and three grandchildren, Bradford, William and Elizabeth Marie Witmer all of Charlottesville, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 2:00 pm from the graveside of Belle Haven cemetery with the Rev. Tammy Estep officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Simms may be made to a charity of one's choice.
