Timothy Neville Tabor

Timothy Neville Tabor, 56, a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, he was the son of Malcom N. Tabor of Carrsville, VA and the late Reba Minor Tabor. Mr. Tabor was a police officer for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel District for 32 years, most recently as a Lieutenant. In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Christopher Travis Tabor and Jared Clayton Tabor, both of Machipongo; two step-daughters, Amanda Anne Bell and Mari Louise Bell, both of Nassawadox, VA; one brother, Malcom G. Tabor and his wife, Sydney, of Suffolk, VA; two nephews, Timothy Robert Tabor and Joseph Jackson Tabor, both of Carrsville; and one niece, Sharon Rene Tabor of Portsmouth, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore, VA.
