Tracy King Johnson

Tracy King Custis Johnson, 85, wife of the late Leonard W. Johnson and a resident of Painter, Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Craddockville, she was the daughter of the late Henry Dana Custis and the late Tracy Hyslop Custis. She was a retired Accomack County school teacher and a member of Painter-Garrison United Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Nanette Johnson Yonetani and her husband, Glen, of St. Louis, Missouri; a granddaughter, Sarah Logue of Atlanta, Georgia; and a son in-law, Laurence J. Logue of Marietta, Georgia. She was predeceased by a daughter, Martha Custis Johnson Logue. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Tom Durrance officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
