Viola E. Floyd

Mrs. Viola E. Floyd, 92, wife of the late Frank J. Floyd and a resident of Parksley, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Shore Life Care. A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Edward Einarsen and the late Johanna Wilkins. She was a ballet dancer on the stage and the screen and an instructor and business owner. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy F. Watson and her husband Thomas of Parksley, Va.; three grandchildren, Dorothy Steele, Dana Floyd Sutter, Joseph Floyd; and five step-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Connelly of Annapolis, Md.; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn Johanna Floyd and a sister, Mildred E. Byrnes. A private service will be held at a later date.
