Wayne Bradford

Walter Wayne Bradford, 72, husband of Judy Campbell Bradford and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at his residence. A native of Hadlock, VA, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Bradford and the late Monnie Custis Bradford. He was a United States Navy Veteran, retired Sheriff for Northampton County and a member of the Virginia Sheriff’s Association.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Katie Lynne Bradford of Exmore; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sara Beth Bradford; and a sister, Barbara Parker.

A graveside service with Sheriff’s Department Honors will be conducted Monday, October 2, 2023, at 1:00PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Rob Kelly officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Eastern Shore SPCA Inc., PO Box 164, Onley, VA 23418 or Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P.O. Box 430, Onancock, VA 23417.
