Wayne Burdette

Wayne Burdette, 60, husband of Tara Burdette and a resident of Hallwood, VA, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. A native of Anderson, SC, he was the son of Glennell Loggins Burdette Whitfield of Anderson and the late James Howard Burdette. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Perdue Foods.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Jesse James Burdette of Hallwood; a sister, Rhonda Burdette of Anderson; three brothers, Dale Burdette and his wife, Jenny, of Iva, SC, Dennis Burdette of Anderson, and Tracy Burdette of Anderson; and two daughters by heart, Heather Sims of Mullins, SC, and Shadi Long of Memphis, TN. He was predeceased by a son, Devan Wayne Burdette and his best friend dog, Romeo.
