Wayne Hodgson

Wayne A. Hodgson, 62, husband of Heidi and a resident of Hacksneck, VA, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. A native of Ocean County, NJ, he was the son of the late Ronald and Patricia Hodgson.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Heidi; his children Wayne II (Allyson), Coty (Caroline), Dylan (Chelsey), Erik (Bethany); a sister, Lee Ann, and brothers, David, Douglas, and Ronald; his mother-in-law, Nancy Brunell; and seven grandchildren, Wayne III, Vaylen, Aubree, Autumn, Ali, Wrenley, and Adalyn.

He was a foreman with Branscome. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling, and watching NASCAR.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 2:00PM, at Belle Haven Cemetery, with Rob Kelly officiating.
