Wayne Smith

Wayne Smith, Sr., also known as Mr. Mario, 63, husband of Diane Birch Smith and a resident of Onancock, VA, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. A native of Exmore, VA, he was the son of the late Lee Roy Smith, Sr. and the late Isabelle Fitchett Smith. He worked for Boggs Water & Sewage, Inc for sixteen years.

In addition to the love of his life for over fifty years, he is survived by a son, Robbie Smith and his wife, Melissa, of Onancock; a brother, Butch Smith and his wife, Sharon, of Melfa, VA; a sister, Gail S. Bundick and her husband, Bob, of Exmore and three grandchildren, Katelyn Smith, Arianna Fletcher and Hunter Smith.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Jack D. Pruitt officiating. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
