William Jennings Dixon III, better known as Uncle Bill, 62, a resident of Jamesville, VA, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence. A native of Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late William Jennings Dixon, Jr. and the late Emma Jean Bradley Dixon. He was an N.R.A. member, A.K.A. Packing Heat, Turkey Federation Member and partnered in Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program with the State of Virginia.
He is survived by his sister, Carol D. Gutterman and her husband, Herbert, of Delray Beach, FL; a niece, Christina Bradley Berger of West Palm Beach, FL; a nephew, Charles Jennings Berger and his wife, Nikki, of Richmond, VA; two great nieces, Madison Berger and Aurora Berger, both of Richmond; a great nephew, Sabastian Berger of Richmond; and many friends of Silver Beach, VA.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program, c/o Virginia Department of Forestry, 900 Natural Resources Drive, Charlottesville, Virginia 22903.
