William Winslow

William Thomas Winslow, Sr., 84, husband of the late Fanny Kellam Winslow, a resident of Norfolk, VA, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017, in Norfolk. A native of Franktown, VA, he was the son of the late William Oscar Winslow and the late Virginia Bradford Winslow. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenter's House Ministries.

Mr. Winslow is survived by three children, Esther W. O'Toole and her husband, William of Norfolk, William Thomas Winslow, Jr. of Norfolk, and Amanda Marie Bailey and her husband, James, Maple, NC; five grandchildren, Jaclyn Huggins, Kandace Horner, William Thomas Winslow III, Chase Jones and Layla Pope; and three great grandchildren, Nathan, Rylee and Olivia. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Winslow and a brother, Oscar Winslow.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 1:30 PM at Carpenter's House Ministries with Pastor Mark Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the church Sunday from 1:00 to 1:30 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Carpenter's House Ministries, 980 Broad Meadows Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
