Michael McCauley

Michael Joseph McCauley, 66, husband of Cynthia M. McCauley and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023. Originally from New York, he was the son of the late Robert Edward McCauley and the late Marilyn Gerbin McCauley. He was a retired Race Horse Trainer at Monticello Raceway.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a brother, Robert; and a sister, Lynn. He was predeceased by a son, Matthew Joseph McCauley.

Funeral arrangements are as follows at Doughty Funeral Home: Sunday, March 26, 2023 family and friends will gather together at 1:30pm, funeral service at 2:30pm, and interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. All are invited to a reception afterwards at Painter Garrison Methodist Church, 17310 Main Street, Painter, VA.
